Account Manager (One open position)
At Dovetail, all account team members - from entry level associates to the president - are actively involved in media relations. Account manager candidates should have strong working relationships with high tech media and industry analysts, outstanding writing ability, excellent team leadership skills, excellent strategic planning skills, strong creativity and extensive client management experience at another high tech PR agency. Direct media relations experience with security, storage or telecom preferred.
Responsibilities include client management, message development, press release writing, team leadership, team mentoring, new product publicity, trend story publicity, analyst relations and product reviews management. You will work side by side with your team on projects and will report to the president. The majority of your outbound media contact will be with high tech trade publications, analysts and top tier business publications.
A degree in marketing, public relations, business, or journalism is required, as is 3+ years of directly applicable agency experience. We offer outstanding growth opportunities as well as competitive salaries and benefits plus profit sharing.
